Moving HCM to the Cloud to Drive Innovation

In 2008, San Diego-based Illumina, a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of life-science tools and integrated systems, was in the market for a cloud-based Software as a Solution (SaaS) option. Illumina, believing in the SaaS model, selected Workday as its human capital management (HCM) vendor, becoming Workday’s 55th client. In this webinar, Pat Leckman, senior director of global total rewards and HRIS, will share the reasons behind Illumina’s decision to go down the SaaS HCM path and sign on with Workday. She will: ► Detail the benefits of the Workday solution, including how it enables HR to now focus on strategy and partner with the business; ► Discuss how a unified design and business process functionality means much less time spent on administrative duties, especially in the benefits areas; ► Explore how Workday’s solution is a perfect fit for Illumina’s emphasis on innovation, especially being nimble in entering new markets; and ► Explain about how Illumina is able to deliver outstanding HR metrics, with an internal HRIS team of just a few people.
